After several years of hard work, the Castaic Skatepark is now open!
On February 27, Spohn Ranch was joined by the Los Angeles County officials and 100+ skateboarders as we officially cut the ribbon on a modern skateable landscape at the Castaic Sports Complex.
The Castaic Skatepark blends seamlessly into our design canvas at the Complex with concrete pathways that weave around trees and landscaped areas. The pathways are lined with a variety of colorful elements – including grind rails, manual pads and curved quarter-pipes.
Our friends and professional skateboarders Manny Santiago and Dave Bachinsky toured the skatepark prior to it’s opening and raved about Spohn Ranch’s attention to detail.
After wrapping up the skatepark build, our construction team headed east to begin our second project for the County at George Lane Park in Quartz Hill, California – just outside of Lancaster. Stay tuned for updates!
