Spohn Ranch’s latest concrete masterpiece, in collaboration with Walton County, is officially open at Helen McCall Park in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida.
For the past few months, Spohn Ranch’s craftsmen have been transforming an undeveloped piece of land into a modern skatepark perfectly-suited for all skill levels and riding styles. Building the 9,000 square foot skatepark required every one of Spohn Ranch’s unique skill sets – including drainage, grading, concrete, shotcrete, and steel fabrication.
The skatepark features an intermediate-level bowl with both square and radial ends, some beginner-friendly transition elements, and a variety of street elements including grind rails, manual pads, and hubba ledges.
The grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony were scaled back due to COVID-19, but we’ve been receiving rave reviews on social media since it opened.
Our skatepark construction efforts in Florida continue with upcoming projects in Polk County and North Miami Beach, so stay tuned for updates!
