Orizaba Park Skatepark

Our fifth skatepark for the City of Long Beach, this skate spot is a valuable addition to Long Beach’s diverse and growing skatepark master plan. With a small site and budget, this unique space provides the local community’s up-and-coming skaters with a great space to progress before moving on to the City’s larger and more complex parks.

Although the skateboarding area at Orizaba Park is quite small at approximately 3,000 square feet (40’ x 80’) it is definitely a major highlight of the park’s revitalization.  Creating safe traffic patterns in a space this small was challenging, but smooth concrete and intelligently-designed flow make this is a very well-used facility.

2014 Update – the park has been expanded!
