The highly anticipated Goleta Skatepark will officially open on Saturday, March 30th.
The 5,000 square foot concrete skatepark was designed by Spohn Ranch in conjunction with input from local skateboarders – collected via a series of design workshops. The Goleta Skatepark is just one of several amenities at a 4-acre park in Goleta’s historic Old Town, officially named the Jonny D. Wallis Neighborhood Park.
The skatepark design is compact due to site constraints, but is intelligently-spaced and features a variety of skate elements including manual pads, grind rails and hipped banks.
