In early 2013, Spohn Ranch was selected among the nation’s top firms to design and build a new state-of-the-art concrete skatepark in Gillette, Wyoming. Over the past few months, we’ve engaged in collaborative design process with the County, City of Gilette and local skateboarding community.
We’re proud to share the final design and announce that construction will begin in the Spring when temperatures are consistently above 40 degrees.
The park features a long entrance pathway with skateable elements, our first ever handicap ramp feature and a large custom steel sculpture recreating the County’s mountain range logo!
