About 30 minutes south of the legendary winter tourist destination Mammoth Mountain and on the eastern side of Sierra Nevada mountain range lies the close-knit community of Crowley Lake, California.
In recent years, a public skatepark became a top priority for the community. The importance of a skatepark was noticeably relevant in a place where during the dry months, fishing, hiking, and horseback riding opportunities abound, but action sports opportunities were limited.
After several years of hard work and advocacy at the community level, the funding came together and Spohn Ranch was hired by Mono County as skatepark designer and builder. In addition to building the skatepark, our scope includes a parking lot, restroom building and a drainage system to collect and manage stormwater.

Located directly adjacent to the Crowley Lake Community Center, this 10,000 square foot concrete skatepark will have something for everybody, from beginners to professionals. Outlined with quarter-pipes and radiused wall at every turn, it will also offer continuous flow and maximum speed.
The south end of the park is anchored by a clover bowl with depths ranging from 5′ to 9′, including a signature cradle facing the street. Not to be forgotten, street skaters will enjoy a nice mix of rails, ledges and manual pads artfully woven into the skatepark design.
