Polk County, Florida’s new concrete skatepark at Loyce E. Harpe Park in Mulberry is officially open.
The 5,000 square foot skatepark is located on the west side of the park, across from the dog park. The skatepark features Spohn Ranch’s signature mix of street and transition terrain, including a central volcano, stair sets of varying sizes and a bump to sphere bollard for a modern touch. Our friends, amateur skateboarder Cezar Fernandez and photographer Stephen Knight recently visited the skatepark and returned with rave reviews.
Spohn Ranch executed a turnkey design-build scope on budget and on schedule, including skatepark design, construction documents, earthwork, steel fabrication, concrete and shotcrete.
